Official Hazelight Wristband Lanyards: Small Accessory, Real Story Behind It
A wristband lanyard is one of those accessories that goes everywhere without demanding attention. On your bag, your keys, your desk. Something you reach for every day without thinking about it.
These are not generic gaming accessories. Every wristband lanyard in this collection is officially licensed by Hazelight Studios and features character artwork from one of their three co-op games: A Way Out, It Takes Two, or Split Fiction. Three games that people have finished with someone they care about, often in a single sitting, often at some point past midnight. The kind of games you remember not just for what happened on screen, but for who was beside you.
That is the story behind each of these. A small thing with a lot of meaning attached to it.
The Wristband Lanyards at a Glance
It Takes Two Wristband Lanyard
The It Takes Two Wristband Lanyard features Cody and May, the central characters of Hazelight's 2021 Game of the Year. It is the Hazelight game most people start with, and the one most people finish feeling something they did not expect.
If you have ever pressed through a Cody and May chapter in one sitting because neither of you wanted to stop, this is the one.

Split Fiction Wristband Lanyard
The Split Fiction Wristband Lanyard carries Mio and Zoe, the two writers at the heart of Hazelight's 2025 co-op adventure. Two characters with completely different personalities, completely different writing styles, and completely different ideas about how a story should go. The game makes you play both perspectives. The lanyard picks one to carry with you.

A Way Out Leo & Vincent Wristband Lanyard
The A Way Out Leo & Vincent Wristband Lanyard is the grittiest piece in the collection, which fits the game it comes from.
A Way Out was Hazelight's first game: a 2018 co-op prison thriller about two convicts who trust each other just enough to escape, and not much more. The game has one of the most discussed endings in recent co-op gaming. The lanyard is for the fans who know exactly how it goes, and chose to rep it anyway.

How to Use Them
Each lanyard works in multiple ways and that flexibility is part of what makes them good everyday accessories:
- As a keyring lanyard: Clip your keys onto the loop and wear the wristband around your wrist or bag handle. Your keys stay accessible and you get a low-key piece of merch that goes everywhere.
- Clipped to a bag: The lanyard attaches cleanly to a bag strap or zipper pull. A subtle way to carry the game without a full hoodie or tote.
- At a desk or gaming setup: Draped over a monitor stand or controller rack, these add personality to a setup without taking up meaningful space.
- As a gift: At this price point, they are the easiest Hazelight gift to give. No sizing, no guessing at preferences, and no chance of getting it wrong if you know which game they played.
Also in This Collection
This accessories range goes beyond the wristband lanyards. Also available:
- It Takes Two Cutie Plushie Keyring: A compact chibi plushie keyring featuring Cody and May. Softer and more playful than the lanyard, and a good pairing piece.
- Split Fiction Metal Pins: Individual character pins for Mio and Zoe, plus a Split Fiction logo pin. High-quality metal construction. Works on jackets, bags, or pin boards.
- It Takes Two Cody Pin and May Pin: Character pins for each half of the It Takes Two duo.
Pairing Ideas
Wristband lanyards pair naturally with other small accessories from the same game. A few combinations that work well:
- The It Takes Two Wristband Lanyard alongside the Cutie Plushie Keyring and the Cody Pin or May Pin makes a complete small accessories gift set.
- The Split Fiction Wristband Lanyard with the Mio Metal Pin or Zoe Metal Pin keeps everything within one game and one character.
- The A Way Out Wristband Lanyard pairs with the Leo & Vincent Metal Poster for a fan who wants both something to carry and something to display.
