Welcome to Official Hazelight Gear Store! Below is our shipping policy, including order processing times, delivery estimates, and other important shipping details.

 

Free Shipping: 

1. Order Processing

All orders are processed within 1-2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). Once your order has been processed and shipped, you will receive an email notification with tracking details.


2. Shipping & Delivery Times

All orders ship from Denmark (EU). International customers may incur customs fees.
We only offer Standard Shipping. Estimated delivery times vary by region:

Denmark: 1-2 business days

Sweden & Finland: 2-4 business days

European Union (including UK & Switzerland): 2-5 business days

Eastern Europe: 2-4 business days

United States & Canada: 4-7 business days

Asia: 4-7 business days

Australia & New Zealand: 4-7 business days

Rest of the World: 4-7 business days


Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout based on your location.


3. Order Tracking

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number and a link to track your shipment.

Please allow 24-48 hours for tracking updates to appear after shipment.


4. Shipping Restrictions

We do not ship to PO Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or restricted regions. If your location is outside our shipping zones, please contact us for assistance.


5. Customs, Duties & Taxes


Import Taxes & Refused Deliveries

Customers are responsible for all import VAT, customs duties, and carrier handling fees required by their local customs authorities. If the customer refuses to pay these charges and the parcel is returned, all outbound shipping costs (including return shipping and any fees charged by the carrier) are non-refundable and will be deducted from any refund.


Non-EU Orders
For shipments delivered outside the European Union, the recipient is responsible for all applicable import duties, taxes, customs handling fees, brokerage charges, and other import-related costs imposed by the destination country’s customs authority.
These charges are not included in the product price or shipping fees collected at checkout.

Shipments destined for non‑EU countries, including the United States, may be subject to customs duties, tariffs, import taxes, and brokerage fees. These assessments vary by product category and country of origin and are determined solely by the destination country’s customs authority (e.g., U.S. Customs and Border Protection).
The recipient is responsible for paying all such charges at the time of import.


Right of Withdrawal & Undelivered Goods

Under EU consumer law, the right of withdrawal generally begins once the customer has received the goods. If a customer refuses to pay applicable import duties, taxes, or customs fees, the shipment may not be released for delivery and may be returned to sender.

In such cases, while consumer rights remain unaffected, the refusal to pay import charges does not in itself constitute a valid exercise of the right of withdrawal.

Handling of Returned Parcels Due to Unpaid Duties

If a shipment is returned to us because import charges were not paid:

  • The order may be refunded once the goods are received back and inspected
  • Outbound shipping costs are non‑refundable
  • Any return-to-sender fees or customs return charges billed by the carrier will be deducted from the refund
  • A reasonable administrative handling fee may also be deducted where applicable


6. Lost or Delayed Shipments

If your package is delayed or lost in transit:

First, check the tracking link provided in your shipping confirmation email.

If there is no recent tracking update or the package is lost, please contact us at Hazelight@Sophisticated-GEEK.com

If your package is marked as “Delivered” but you haven’t received it, check with neighbors or your local courier before reaching out.


7. Damaged or Missing Items

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 2 days with photos of the item and packaging. If an item is missing from your order, notify us immediately so we can investigate and resolve the issue.
