The Birth of the Webshop

The Hazelight Gear Store was founded with a mission to bring a fresh perspective to taking the games beyond the screen, blending creativity with practicality. From the very beginning, we set out to create a staple collection of useful items that reflect the Scandinavian brand identity of the Swedish Hazelight Studio. The store is hosted and operated by the Danish brand partner Sophisticated GEEK®, a partnership created to bring Hazelight’s unique brand identity to life through thoughtful product design.

    Limited drops and community favorites, including our tribute line to Josef Fares’ iconic Game Awards moment the “F*** the Oscars” capsule.

Design Progress

From product idea, to a mockup created by Sophisticated GEEK®'s creative team in Denmark. Mockup presented to Hazelight Studios for product development. After agreed upon design and product, Sophisticated GEEK® will create samples until the product reflects the creative vision and quality.

Idea boards

Understanding your wishes through recent order history, the market and trends, Discord product requests, combined with the creative team from Sophisticated GEEK® we create new product ideas for current and new games.

Concept Development

It all starts with getting to know the games, from there we decide which characters, story-telling and colors will represent the game the best. Based on that information we do product development research to determine what to create.

Design Refinement

After a few rounds of sampling to create the perfect product and multiple revisions between Hazelight Studios and Sophisticated GEEK®. We release a product on the Hazelight webshop.
